Karma hit back.
My friend said the words casually, mid conversation, the way everyone does.
Something in me stopped.
What is this, actually?
Not luck. Not coincidence. Not some cosmic ledger floating above us, keeping score on its own.
My brain kept asking.
Then the answer came.
Every deed is ibadat.
Every single one.
The good ones. The bad ones. The ones nobody saw.
All of it, already standing in front of Rab.
So when we do something wrong, it was never just an act in the world.
It was an act in front of Him first.
And He gives back.
Not directly. Not with a voice from the sky.
Through His creation.
Through people. Through circumstance. Through the exact situation that mirrors what we put out.
Karma was never impersonal.
It was never some separate law running beside faith.
It was Him, answering through what He made.
We think we are dealing with the world.
We are always dealing with Him first.
The world is just where the reply arrives.
Next time something comes back to you, good or bad, ask the real question. Not what did I do to deserve this. What did I already give Him, that He is now returning.
