Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Quiet After Noise (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Quiet After Noise publishes long-form articles and videos and operates a members-only “Wall” where members can post short updates, comment, like, and follow one another. The Service is provided as-is, for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Accounts

Some features require a member account, which you create by signing in with Google or Facebook. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for everything done through your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

• Posting content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, hateful, or infringes anyone’s rights;
• Impersonating others or misrepresenting your affiliation;
• Attempting to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, or other members’ accounts;
• Scraping or bulk-downloading content beyond normal personal use.

We may remove content and suspend or delete accounts that violate these rules. You can report offending Wall posts or comments using the report button on each item.

5. Your Content and License

You retain ownership of the content you post. By posting on the Wall or commenting, you grant Quiet After Noise a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to store, display, and distribute that content so we can operate the Service. You may delete your own posts and comments at any time; see the Data Deletion page for how to remove your account and data entirely.

6. Intellectual Property

All articles, videos, design, and other content produced by Quiet After Noise are owned by Quiet After Noise and protected by copyright and other laws. You may share links to them, but may not reproduce them commercially without permission.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy. By using the Service you consent to that handling.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quiet After Noise shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
