There are seasons of life when almost every question begins with the same word.
Why?
Why now?
Why not earlier?
Why them?
Why not me?
We measure our lives against calendars, birthdays, promotions, weddings, opportunities, and milestones.
Without noticing it, we begin treating someone else's timeline as the standard our own life should follow.
That's where peace quietly begins to disappear.
Because comparison doesn't only make us question ourselves.
It makes us doubt the very pace of our own life.
The strange thing is, almost everyone has a story they now call "perfect timing" that once felt painfully late.
The friendship that wouldn't have survived a year earlier.
The opportunity that would have been wasted by a younger version of ourselves.
The answer we weren't ready to hear when we first asked the question.
Looking back changes the shape of waiting.
Maybe timing has never been the enemy.
Maybe our view of it was.
We only see today's page.
Perhaps that's why patience feels so difficult.
It asks us to trust a story we cannot yet see.
If you're in a season that hasn't made sense yet...
I'd be honoured to wait it out with you here.
