There are moments when life becomes unmistakably clear.

Not because everything suddenly makes sense.

Because something inside us already knows what the next step is.

Most of us have lived through moments like that. The conversation we knew we needed to have. The apology that had already formed in our chest. The truth we'd quietly recognized long before we admitted it out loud.

Then another thought arrives.

Maybe I should wait.

Maybe I need one more sign.

One more conversation.

One more certainty.

It sounds wise. It often isn't. Sometimes "one more sign" is simply the most polite way fear asks for permission to stay a little longer.

The longer we wait for perfect certainty, the more unfamiliar obvious things start to feel.

Not because the truth got quieter.

Because hesitation slowly became our native language.

By the time another sign actually arrives, it isn't answering a question anymore.

It's just revealing the decision we already made a long time ago.

Some signs don't stay unnoticed because nobody sent them.

They stay unnoticed because someone kept waiting for a better one to show up.

If this reflection walked beside something you've been postponing, I'd be grateful to have you here for the next one.
